You love them until it’s time to scrub off all the road grime and brake dust.

They’re great - until you have to clean them. Having had such wheels on various BMWs, I can tell you that there are two choices for getting them clean: 1) taking frigging forever getting in the little cracks and crevices with your fingers and odd little brushes whilst uncomfortably sitting or kneeling on wet pavement, or 2) using some sort of wheel cleaner spray that will eventually etch off the paint leaving the metal surface pitted and more likely to collect brake dust that is now even harder to remove. Never again. Learn from my experience.

They look nice, I’ll grant you that, but I’ll never buy them again unless I have someone that will clean my car for me, properly (no acidic sprays). Right now I want to get rid of the multi-spoke wheels on the Mazda for something considerably simpler - 5 basic spokes that can easily be wiped down in milliseconds.

True, but you’re still a party pooper.

Me too, but only on premium sedans. Not on coupes or sorts cars.

I love multi-spoke wheels, especially since I want a set of BBS mesh wheels for the Miata, but even my 8-spoke Konigs can be a hassle to clean. It sucks scrubbing dirt and dust out of all the small crevices.

Toddlers amd wheel brushes make cleaning them a lot easier.

There’s many spokes, then there’s hundred spokes.
